How it works
One cook, one kitchen, a few cooking days a week. Here is the whole process, from picking a day to warming up your borscht.
Organic ingredients onlyPick a cooking day
Each cooking day takes orders until two days before: for Wednesday, order by Monday 8 PM. That's when Masha goes shopping, so after the deadline the menu for that day is closed.
Every day has a limited number of portions. When a dish is gone, it says so on the menu.
Choose your dishes
The menu changes every week. Add as many portions as you need: one bowl of borscht is fine, and so is a whole week of lunches.
Have a code from Masha? Enter it and you'll see a few extra dishes we make only for friends.
Pay online
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on Stripe's secure page, or a Zelle transfer from your bank app. Your portions are held for one hour while you pay. The order is confirmed the moment the payment goes through, and you get a receipt by email.
Pick up or get it delivered
Pickup in North Highlands, 95660, is free in the window you choose. Delivery is done by us, never by couriers. The fee depends on distance and order size. Check your ZIP.
We message you when the food is on its way and again at your door.
Warm up and enjoy
Everything is cooked on the day you get it and packed in sealed containers labeled with the dish and the date. Each dish page has reheating tips. Most dishes keep for three days in the fridge; pelmeni and vareniki freeze well.
Ready now
Sometimes a few portions are left after a cooking day. They appear at the top of the menu as Ready now, at a lower price, for pickup or delivery the same day. No deadline, first come first served.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, until the deadline for your cooking day. Write to Masha from your order page and she'll fix it or refund you.
I have an allergy. What do I do?
Every dish lists its allergens. Add a note for the cook at checkout, it goes straight to Masha's cooking list.
Do you cook for events?
Big weekly orders, yes, just place them for a Sunday. For a party or a church lunch, message us first so we can plan the portions.
How will I know when it's ready?
By email, or in Telegram if you connect it. Your order page always shows the current status and the time.
